What a day! I admit, yesterday we knew pretty quick that a big city like Rome isn’t necessarily our thing. Too many people, tourists, and pushy street vendors. Yuck.
Today has been fun though. We got to visit the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basillica. Very cool sights! Also, instead of joining a walking tour, we used Rick Steves’ free walking tours. They’re pretty fun! I highly recommend them.
In sad news, our little camera seems to have a lens error. This is usually the mark of death for Canon point & shoots, but I’ll see what I can do tonight. Yes, the iPad has a camera, but no, we won’t be using it to take pictures!
Tomorrow we’ll be going on an all-day bike tour of Rome. It’s one of our splurge items and I think it should be great!
